Kilimanjaro Nut\u2019s co-founder, Kimmit Haggins, traveled to Zanzibar and Tanzania as a tourist and entrepreneur a dozen years ago. He was interested in starting an unrelated business, but learned that coffee was the region\u2019s largest export commodity. The vast majority of coffee exports went to Europe and Japan, not the USA. \u201c2.4 billion people drink coffee every day,\u201d says Haggins. \u201cWe want to bring them the finest coffee they have ever savored<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through their carefully cultivated relationships with the farmers, the local agricultural Boards, and the local government, Haggins and his team are able to bring you this extraordinary coffee, cashew and tea at a very affordable price. \u201cKilimanjaro agricultural products rate among the highest end of the quality spectrum by premium roasting companies, the Oregon Coffee board, and other reputable organizations,\u201d he says. \u201cWe are able to track each bag of coffee, cashew or tea directly back to the exact village where it was harvested.
